ThermaMetal uses patented technology to stop ice damming on new standing seam metal roofs. A specifically designed, three sided raceway secures UL-listed self regulating heat trace cable in place for highly efficient, direct heat transfer.
Panels are installed directly onto the ice and water shield and do not require any modifications to the new roof structure. ThermaMetal has a receiver compatible with new seams, which are then clicked on for a clean, water-tight installation.

ThermaMetal is available in three sizes:
1X Panel
Single heat cable run
Approximately 10 inch melt path
Recommended for:
- Mild to Moderate snowfall
- Residential properties in the East Coast and Great Lakes
2X Panel
- Double heat cable runs
- Approximately 20 inch melt path
Recommended for:
- Moderate to severe snowfall
- Rocky Mountains and other high-elevation regions
3X Panel
Triple heat cable runs
Approximately 30 inch melt path
Recommended for:
- Severe snowfall
- Extended eave design
